I just found this neat little image showing Adobe’s new focus for the flash platform in relation to current trends. Rather than try to fight it, they’re accepting the idea if HTML5 being used for web developments, and moving the focus of flash to game development, mobile, and data-driven apps.
This is a great example of a company who knows how to adapt to trends and make it work for them rather than just refusing to budge and attempting to throw an ever-tightening stranglehold on paradigms that are no longer relevant or wanted.

I’m excited to announce that I am teaming with Quest creator Alex Warren to create a new text (possibly with graphics) adventure game, which we’re hoping to release on PC and mobile platforms at some point. It’s early to release any details, but I’ll be sure to make post updates with the progress, and I might set up a dev blog a little later on once we have the story and mechanics nailed down.
